Our Mission

Founder: Devo'n Williams

Homeless but Not Powerless is a project focused on generating a more civically engaged population amongst those who feel their voices are not heard. We go to shelters, soup kitchens, parks, and jails to register voters. We also assist those who are unable to register because of past felony convictions in restoring their voting rights.

In addition to registering voters and restoring voter rights, we educate homeless voters about the importance of their civic participation and empower voters to exercise their rights as constituents to influence policy and legislation that affect them.
